This Privacy Policy explains how A Central Fence, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use:
• Our public website at https://acentralfence.com, including the online Self-Estimate / quote tool
• ACTF Field Crew mobile app (employees): time clock, job assignments, team chat, GPS at punch, and proof-of-delivery (POD) photos
• ACTF Field Ops mobile app (employees / authorized sales): quoting and operations on the go
• actf-ops office web application (employees / authorized staff)
The website and Self-Estimate tool are available to the public. The mobile apps and office app are for employees and authorized personnel only.
Public Website & Self-Estimate (acentralfence.com)
When you visit our website or use the Self-Estimate / quote tool, we may collect:
• Contact and project details you submit: name, company, phone, email, job-site address or map pin, fence preferences (panel type, gates, extras), rental duration, preferred install time, and any notes or drawings you upload
• Estimate information: the preliminary ballpark estimate generated from what you enter (this is a ballpark only — not a final quote; we invoice as built after install)
• Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, as typically collected by our website host (e.g. Squarespace) and any hosting used for the estimate tool (e.g. Render)
How we use website / estimate information
• Respond to your inquiry and prepare or follow up on a quote
• Schedule installs and communicate about your project
• Improve our website and estimate tool
• Comply with legal obligations
Who sees it: your submission goes to A Central Fence staff (and our ops systems) so we can contact you. We do not sell this information. Service providers that host the site or send email/SMS may process it on our behalf.
Your choices: you can contact us (below) to update or correct information you submitted, or ask us not to contact you further about a quote. You can also reach us by phone or email without using the online estimate tool.
Employee Apps & Office Tools (Field Crew, Field Ops, actf-ops)
Information We Collect
• Account information: name, login credentials, role, and contact details (email/phone) used to sign in
• Job information: job sites, customer and job details, quotes, delivery and installation records
• Time clock records: clock-in/clock-out times and related timekeeping data
• Location (optional): precise GPS location captured only at the moment you clock in/out or submit a proof-of-delivery photo, if you grant location permission. We do not track location continuously in the background
• Photos: images you take or upload, such as proof-of-delivery or job-site photos. Camera and photo access is used only when you choose to take or attach a photo
• Chat messages: messages and attachments you send through in-app chat
• Device and technical information: device identifiers, push notification tokens, app version, and session data needed to keep you signed in, deliver notifications, and troubleshoot problems
How We Use This Information
• Operate our workforce tools and manage jobs, scheduling, and deliveries
• Payroll, timekeeping, and verifying work hours and locations
• Proof of delivery and job documentation for customers
• Internal communication between office and field staff
• Quoting, invoicing, and business operations
• Security, troubleshooting, and complying with legal obligations
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.
We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and tools, under their own privacy and security terms, such as:
• Website host (e.g. Squarespace)
• Cloud hosting for apps and estimate systems (e.g. Render)
• App build and push notification services (e.g. Expo / EAS, Apple, Google)
• Email and SMS delivery providers
• Accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online) for invoicing (office use)
• Map / location providers when you use map features (e.g. job pin or directions)
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer.
Data Retention
We keep information as long as needed for business operations, customer service, payroll and tax records, and legal or regulatory requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
Your Choices and Rights
• Website visitors: contact us below to correct estimate contact details or ask us to stop follow-up about a quote
• Location, camera, and notifications (apps): enable or disable these in your device settings. Some features (e.g. GPS punch or POD photos) may not work without them
• Access and correction: employees may contact the office administrator or us (below) to review or correct their information
• Account deletion (apps): to request deletion of your app account and associated data, contact us at the email or phone below. Some records (such as payroll and timekeeping) may be retained as required by law
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure.
Children's Privacy
Our website, apps, and services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
